Alas, I have arrived.

After a 24 hour airline adventure filled with various highlights such as sitting in front of a row of three adorable, yet restless, seat kicking, crying children (which is understandable, seeing as no one, regardless of age, wants to sit on a plane for 10 hours, present company included); having an LAX Burger King employee exclaimed that he loved me as I walked away from the counter; witnessing a verbal cat fight between the United Airlines desk/gate staff... (I've included a written re-enactment below)

Michelle (United employee #1) [over intercom in irritated voice]: Emily....... Emily...... Emily......Emily, ANSWER YOUR PHONE! Emily....Emily.... EMILY, YOU NEED TO PICK UP YOUR PHONE!

Emily [over intercom in irritated, catty tone]: I MIGHT be able to pick up if I HAD A LITTLE HELP OVER HERE! THERE'S A LOT OF PEOPLE AND I'M A LITTLE BUSY RIGHT NOW"

witnessing another verbal catfight on my flight, this time with a flight attendant and an angry woman who didn't receive the special meal she allegedly ordered; getting to take a 25 minute architecturally scenic powerwalk through Heathrow to get to my gate, free HBO on the plane, falling into a deep sleep (complete with dreams!) before takeoff and waking up RIGHT before takeoff in a panic, thinking I didn't deboard the plane in Dublin and was now being whisked away to some Scandinavian country, and finally, arriving in Dublin and navigating my way onto a double decker bus headed toward the City Centre. That's everything that the journey TO Ireland has brought... Stay tuned for more adventures within the city. ;-D
